Delayed...

Our team left May 13th and should now be sound asleep in Motherwell Scotland.  They will spend tomorrow getting to know Calvary Motherwell and participating in church services, as well as spending a day of reflection and rest before heading into outreach mode.

I unfortunately was unable to catch my standby flight Friday evening and spent 9 hours at LAX trying to figure out where to move from here. I knew it was a risk, but God had opened every door up unto this point and so I wasn't worried about it.

I have to admit some disappointment, but still, I've been reminded of Proverbs 16:9 "Man plans his ways, but God directs his steps." Perhaps, God has blessed me with this weekend where I can spend 2 days with my husband in solitude as I have no other obligations. I miss our team, but I hope to join them on Tuesday as I head back to LAX to try for another flight Monday evening (the 16th)!

Please keep us all in prayer:
1. Traveling mercies and favor in getting to Scotland efficiently and safely as I will be traveling alone at this point.
2. For the team to be rested and to adjust easily enough with the time change in order to utilize each day.
3. For unity for each team group as we learn to grow with one another.
4. For the Lord to cover all needs with all the couple's that are now separated for the next 3 weeks.
5. Increase of trust in the Lord's timing and plan!

Praise:
1. The Lord provided ALL that was needed for every student to leave yesterday.
2. Fat Sheep sales and support provided for all MY financial needs to be away for 3 weeks!
3. The team arrived safely into Motherwell a few hours ago...
