Scotland Bound..

This last year, God called me to spend time closely with him and stop focusing so much on my career! He did this through the Horizon School of Evangelism where I spent 10 months digging into God’s Word, engaging in weekly outreaches to share the gospel with the San Diego community, and going on several “practicum” trips to New York and back and then through Portland and back. I thought my season with the school was over and I could in a sense, get back to whatever it is I chose, but God called me back to the school to serve full-time on the leadership team. It’s been an amazing experience being able to pour into students that simply want to know more about Jesus. This semester, through our Pastor Mike MacIntosh, we’ve received the vision of heading to Motherwell, Scotland! This has been a hefty feat, financially yes, but also spiritually as we are entering into a place that has left God long ago.

I’m excited for our trip as we’re scheduled to leave on May 13th (staying for 3 weeks). The cost of this endeavor for all students plus the leadership to attend is approximately $126,000 but God has already provided $76,200 through prayer and efforts of us all sacrificing what we can to bring in funds. Also, God has provided free housing with Calvary Motherwell and a special through United Airlines that has brought down costs substantially! I don’t know how God is going to get me to Scotland but thankfully I’m not in charge.

My husband and I would appreciate your prayers immensely!
1. That we would catch the vision for Scotland and have a burden for the people.
2. That God would show us how to effectively minister to the people of Scotland given the time and culture.
3. For effective and cost efficient transportation while we are there
4. That we can make our final payments to the airline to secure our tickets by April 6th
5. For connections to be made that would allow us access to share the gospel
